The National Examination Council (NECO) has released its June/July 2015 examination results.
The results show an improvement compared to previous examinations, with 76 percent credit pass in English Language and 61 percent credit pass in Mathematics.
The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, while announcing the results at the Council’s National Headquarters in Minna, the Niger State capital, on Thursday, noted that the results were an improvement on the previous exams conducted between 2011 and 2014.
The NECO boss also disclosed that 969,991 candidates registered for the examinations, out of which 969,491 actually sat for the papers.
This year’s NECO exam results also show that 68.56 per cent of the candidates recorded five credits and above, including Mathematics and English.
