The reality star faced backlash earlier this week when she posted videos of her two Italian greyhounds called Norman and Bambi on social media.
Some fans said her dogs were "too skinny" - claims dismissed by the Italian Greyhound Club of America .
According to People magazine, the Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control received a complaint from someone worried about the weight of Kylie's greyhounds and an investigation was made.
Derek Brown, deputy director of LA County animal control told the magazine they found the dogs to be in good health.
He said: "We did an animal welfare check yesterday. Miss Jenner was very cooperative.
"Her animals are actually under medical care, so there's no neglect whatsoever. The breed of dog tend to be very lean anyway."
Mr Brown said the department investigates all complaints made to them.
The backlash started when Kylie posted a video showing her playing with her two pets.
One user wrote next to the clip: "Why them dogs so skinny?"
Another said: "Disgusting...the dogs are drastically underweight, shame on the owner!"
Another fan simply wrote: "Feed your damn dog."
Earlier this week the Italian Greyhound Club of America spoke out to say the dogs look perfectly healthy for their breed.
A spokesperson for the club told TMZ the dogs are "supposed to be lean, since they are bred for running".
They continued by saying a healthy Italian Greyhound "should show a hint of three ribs and its hip bones."
They also pointed out a still photo taken from Kylie's video could be misleading, as the dog "could be taking a big breath which would exaggerate the rib cage."
