Ronaldo Won’t Play for Man United vs. Liverpool After Death of Newborn Son

MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Cristiano Ronaldo won't play for Manchester United at Liverpool on Tuesday after the death of one of his newborn twins. 

 

 The boy’s death was blazoned on Monday by Ronaldo and his better half, Georgina Rodriguez. 

“ Family is more important than everything and Ronaldo is supporting his favored bones at this immensely delicate time,"United said in a statement. “ As similar, we can confirm that he'll not feature in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening and we accentuate the family’s request for sequestration. Cristiano, we're all thinking of you and transferring strength to the family."

 

 Ronaldo thanked the croakers and nursers for their care. 

“ Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some stopgap and happiness,” he wrote on social media.
