Badaru bared this during the induction of a 15- member Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency at the Governor’s House in Dutse, according to a statement on Sunday

He said, “ In the last seven times of this administration, the state has recorded a significant number of private investments, as well as the establishment of small and medium diligence which led to an increase in the state’s Internal Generated profit and raised the state’s Gross Domestic Product from N900m to about N2tn, the loftiest ever in the history of the state.

“ From 2019 to 2022, Jigawa State has been ranked the third state with the swift- growing Small and Medium Assiduity and this is attributable to the excellent job of Jigawa State Investment Promotion Council. thus, I prompt the council to be more aggressive in its accreditation considering misgivings associated withover-reliance on oil painting earnings which has led to the profitable downturn of numerous countries. ”

In his comment, the Vice Chairman of the state IPC, Dr Muhammad Sagagi, who spoke on behalf of the president, attributed the success of former development enterprise to leadership support.

“ Out of the four investment agencies supported by the Department for International Development, in 2011, only Jigawa invest and Kadipa was still functional and that could be attributed to the support the two surviving investment creation agencies entered from political leaders. But I want to assure you, Mr Governor, of our readiness to budge the state’s frugality to a growth line, ” he stated.

Members of the council inaugurated include the Deputy Governor, Umar Namadi( Chairman); Aliyu Madobi; Abdulkadir Maje( Iyan Hadejia),Prof. Hannatu Sabo, and the state Attorney- General, Suleiman Jahun.
